From 1926, when Louie I. Bregman and his brother Simon Bregman started building apartment buildings in the Bronx by Yankee Stadium, the development and construction of a wide array of projects continued with Louie's son, Walter W. Bregman. Walter was a true builder at heart. He loved construction and thrived on the details. He was awarded many government projects ranging from Nike Missile bases to prison and college administration buildings. He then moved to private development including mid-rise apartments in NYC, to small and large strip shopping centers, office buildings and residential development. His knowledge and experience were passed down to his son Paul A. Bregman who is the Principal of the Bregman Organization and has continued in the footsteps of two prior generations. The following is a list of the many projects that have been developed over the past 100 years since the Bregman family started their foray into development and construction. The current portfolio is detailed on the Management page of our website.
